David Eagles is an Australian-born artist who relocated to Bali, Indonesia, in 1997. Painting from a young age and studying art at the Gordon Tafe College Geelong, David soon found himself working as a full-time artist in the surf industry, designing T-shirt art for companies such as Quiksilver, Rip Curl, Beach Crew, and Piping Hot.

Working in various styles over the years, Eagles has exhibited both in Australia and Bali.

Bali, where Eagles lives with his Balinese wife , has a very special place in the artist’s heart. In recent years his art practice has focused on plein air landscape painting both in Bali and neighbouring islands of Indonesia.
