The woven wire decorative arts are made by hand, using fine stainless steel and copper wires. The technique that’s taught over generations hails from Sumba, Indonesia, where the method was originally used to weave mesh necklaces to match their beautiful metallic pendants. Nyaman Gallery works closely with local artisans to create contemporized designs which expands the use of this amazing local wisdom to other gorgeous homewares.
