Gus hails originally from Melbourne Australia where, leaving Art-School, he was part of the emergent Punk/ New Wave movement of the late 70/ early 80’s- a time of rich cultural explosion in Music, the Arts, Fashion and Film, where he played in several, some notorious bands, of the time.

Fleeing the country in the the late 80’s he moved to New York, Paris, London and Tokyo where he embraced the nascent dance scene, becoming a Producer and DJ of some repute, heavily involved in the trance scene, playing festivals and parties across the globe under his own name or under varying guises ( Slinky Wizard/ BUS/ Stoop & FIdjet/ Zen Lemonade...) releasing on all the major psychedelic labels of the day.

2002 saw a return to the Southern Hemisphere with a move to Bali, where he became resident DJ at Ku De Ta. Gus stopped DJing locally a few years later to concentrate on his other interests, in particular Ambient music, his own particular form of Tribal Downbeat music and, for the last 6 years, beginning to express himself the old-fashioned non-computer way as an artist- a return to the original source.  He still continues ( and will never stop) to make music,  and still DJ’s at festivals and Parties all around the globe. Probably won’t stop painting and drawing either now….
